Last Pete, styles P collab and he was clearly the wackiest link on this great post 2015 track
He was often the wackest wrapper on a dope track but nonetheless I always liked him..

Skyzoo doesn't drop wack albums. And PR probably has loads of s**t from the 90s available. The joints on Lost Tapes 2, tracks he's had with Griselda affiliates and Return of the SP1200 project he dropped earlier this year have all been top notch. I'm not worried about this one. First track was just a glimpse of how dope it can be.

its dope! one solid listen and its on point. to have an above average emcee like skyzoo who comes with quality rhyming over dope pete rock beats is what you get here. signature pete rock interlude beats at the end of songs to boot! they did a good job. will be a big deal for 2019.

^ was a good feeling when i first listened and every song was dope. only tracks i'm not huge on are '10 days" (chorus is annoying and beat isn't my thing) and "homegrown" (beats a bit bland) but they're still dope tracks.

Truck Jewels, Carry The Tradition, Richie...with such a mixmaster it's a shame those got wasted.
then One Time (overdrives) and the one with Griselda and Elzhi (horrible vocal mix!!!)
Pete Wrock gold standard - only It's All Good slash a SPbeat
Jay-Z 2 uhm Skyzoo is ok - says the same multi boxed s**t on every album.
Of the newer Pete Wrock work I would put this on par with the one with Smoke DZA.
All the other ish (e.g. Smif N Wessun) was disastrous.

Hmmm after the third listening I don't feel most of the beats.
Nice, laid back ones but nothing special there. But it's Skyzoo (who did his thing like always) and his albums always have to go through the heads many times so...
Surely I expected more from the production side at least

^ i can agree that a bunch of them dont stand out as bangers or mega dope beats but most of them are dope, raw pete rock beats. dope enough and a few mega dope ones for sure imo. above average emcee rhyming over dope pete rock beats. i'll take it!

^ I can relate that you are hyped about this one...I've been careful from the beginning and rightly so.
I also didn't feel In Celebration of Us from the start and it's still spinning nowdays. Don't have 'problems' with him, never, but production from one of the greatest in the game.....?

e.g. you have a beat as ill as Richie and the mix doesn't bump or bubble. WTF?
Just play a little of homegrown and then switch to It's All Good. Are you kidding me? On It's All Good the mix lives, while on Richie it is castrated.
Either the MF doesn't have a solid engineer or just doesn't want to pay for a good mixmaster and or is high all the time. Richie elements are equed like s**t.
Also peep Styles verse - way too loud - overdrives.
