Went to a Talib Kweli/Madlib show tonight. I am no means a huge Talib Kweli, he has said and done things in the past that have made him look like a primma donna. But I gotta say he really held s**t down tonight, strong stage presence and mic control. Did a lot of Jaylib and MF Doom songs. Tons of guests came through - Chace Infinite, Planet Asia, Krondon, Phil da Agony, MED, Wildchild, and Blu. Some other cats I wasn't that familiar with. Talib has two kids, a son and a daughter, that he brought out to rap.
Madlib was on the turntables. I gotta say he sort of sucks as a DJ. He was trying to cut and mix and it all sounded wack as f**k imo. He is one of the best producers ever but he needs to stay off the tables. I guess they have Liberation 2 coming. I listened to the first one and wasn't feeling it.
Ended the show with that song, pretty damn good one. Dope beat from Kanye. I don't think I ever listened to that Quality album.

Interesting storytelling track.
Glue was Adeem and Maker.
I stopped listening to Bronson in more recent times probably Mr. Wonderful was the last one. But he was good in the day.
