Listening to this album now and wow pretty f**king dope so far...yae yo, casablanca, & 100 rounds all sound pretty nice to me. Beats are kinda generic but Rae is spitting his heart out....I'll be back with more...

I played this a little while ago. Not amazing and a bit inconsistent but definitely a decent listen.

Trash bin worthy back when it came out. I should revisit it.

One of those Wu albums that when it dropped i thought was asscheeks and has grown on me over the years. Tical 2000 is another one that comes to mind that i feel similarly about. I think in both cases i was expecting albums on the level as their debuts which was way too high expectations, especially since both of their respective soph**ore albums dropped 4 years after their debuts. Another thing was that he stepped out of the Wu production team which was a little different.
While it's not a classic or anything close to one it's still a solid album. Right out the gate with Yae Yo, Cassablanca, and 100 Rounds you got back to back to back bangers. I agree that Rae was sharp lyrically on here. The big knock for me is the second half of the album, especially the last four or five tracks are recycle bin. A lot of momentum built in the first half only to have the air let out at he end. For that reason along with All I Got Is You II and Jury being first half weak tracks it's a 6.5/10 album. The good is really god damned good tho.

the problem with this album was how different the sound was compared to his debut. I think everyone was expecting something else when it dropped. In my opinion, it's a solid album. Definitely could have shortened it up a bit though. Best tracks are Casablanca, Real Life, Live From NY, My Favorite Dred, The Table, Sneakers
