2012 was a fantastic year. The best part about your list Clock is that even though all of those were dope the only albums you named that were even in my top 20 that year were trophies and grief pedigree. that just goes to show how many quality releases there were that year.
my top 20 for 2012 was:
20. Homeboy Sandman - First Of A Living Breed 19. Lushlife - Plateau Vision 18. P.O.S - We Don’t Even Live Here 17. Oddisee - People Hear What They See 16. JJ DOOM - Key To The Cuffs 15. Lil Ugly Mane - Mista Thug Isolation 14. Killer Mike - R.A.P. Music 13. Blu & Exile - Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them 12. Captain Murphy - Duality 11. Home Brew - Home Brew 10. O.C. & Apollo Brown - Trophies 9. Jam Baxter - The Gruesome Features 8. Melanin 9 - Magna Carta 7. Ka - Grief Pedigree 6. El-P - Cancer For Cure 5. Edward Scissortongue - Better.Luck.Next.Life 4. Billy Woods - History Will Absolve Me 3. Obba Supa - For: AM 2. Dark Time Sunshine - ANX 1. Aesop Rock - Skelethon
2011 was really good too, and so was 2013 imo. there were plenty of albums from those two years that are personal classics to me already that I constantly revisit.

I haven't even heard half those albums but yea that's crazy that only two are on your list. More evidence to back m statement about 2012 up.

i think i asked this a long time ago when Duo first dropped, but have you heard ANX by Dark Time Sunshine? That's Onry Ozzborn's group with a producer named Zavala, who I think is really dope. It's not that far off from Duo sonically so i'd definitely recommend you check it out since you enjoyed that album so much.
