I've determined that ughh members are the worst critics for hip hop.
Most of you have s**t for ears. Most are disgruntled and beyond judgmenta. Too stubborn and couldn't pick a nice track to save their lives.
Some of the corny shot I've seen get praised in the past decade from you so-called elites just to stick your noses up to some good quality hip hop is truly nod to this place.
With that said. Some of you have a good ear and post some tracks that make coming to this place somewhat worthwhile.
This Eminem track is refreshing. You can tell he's having fun and enjoyed making this song. You old farts should at minimum be happy with that. No adlibs no talking about hoes, money, fake gangster s**t, no mumble/ trap, and cameos one of the greatest producers of all time.
And you still will find a way to b***h and moan about this track.
Maybe of it was produced by some irrelevant guy with one of the walkmens members featuring I'll bill with necro driving and Vinnie Paz screaming anti Christian obscenities...
It's a nice song. End of rant lol.

It's not a trash song. It's not his best work by any means but it's not trash and in 2024 it's a welcomed change.

There’s a couple mad funny lines on this tho. And like Neo said, the hook is fire.
Hopefully the album has more sht talk about transgenders and celebs. That’s how Eminem’s gonna get back to some form of relevancy.

I agree about the time I stopped liking his music but back like 10 yea4s ago he was torching s**t. I haven’t listened yet, in no rush as I rarely enjoy em anymore, although kamikaze was solid and had some really nice moments.
also it’s going back a ways but recovery was a great album, his 4th best solo by a wide margin.
That being said em did seem to lose touch a while ago, not sure if anyone watched that interview with sway years ago and he is basically saying he doesn’t know what people want which obviously was his problem as he was trying to cater to the public instead of just making music.
Still one of the best to ever do it without question.

While I got a kick out of the Meg line, it’s a current pop culture reference that anyone who has any knowledge of the “hip hop” news cycle should easily get. The black eyed peas/black guy pees line is just pure cheese. Goes well with the campy vibe here I guess. Back to the overall criticism of ughh heads not liking it and having horrible taste yaddah yaddah: Ive never like Campy Eminem, other than Relapse. I love that album. It’s probably my personal favorite Eminem album. So this idea that we have to like it because it’s well produced and has a few good lines is kinda weird to me. If people prefer hardcore s**t they prefer hardcore s**t. Shrug. I listen to a ton of eccentric weirdo underground stuff and I don’t expect people to like it simply because it’s well put together, which it is. |
