Redman had 3 classics in a row. I need to go back and listen to Doc's da Name 2000 never listened to it enough
sucks the original tical got destroyed, a big what if. tical 2000 was a dope underrated album
red vs. meth...red win
meth vs. chef... chef win

I think catalog wise, Red has Meth.
I love Reds first three albums, his 4th is not bad too.
I honestly don't know much about meths catalog after tical 2000( which is criminally slept on. If it weren't for those kits, damn near classic imo).
As a rapper, i give the slight edge to Meth, but i see Red getting that nod on the right day too.
Today, the here and now, Meth100%. He still comes hungry and has that young energy. I personally don't care much for Redman anymore wand doubt id be excited about a new album from him.

I got redman as a rapper and catalog but I agree in the here and now I'd be more interested in hearing new Meth.

both always kill their guest spots
the bouncy vibe of most of redmans production isnt my thing but a great emcee for sure
did method man drop solo's? never really got into em tbh. not even tical and i really wanted to like it..

As has been said red has the catalogue although I would put meth’s work on the wu albums above that. Method is more iconic imo, has one of the best voices ever and unique style.

Method Man, Tical 2000 is indeed a 9/10 album. Never got into Redman's work for whatever reason (strange I know). Beats never really hit for me. I own Muddy Waters but hardly listen to it, so many skits. Although I am listening to Case Closed right now and it sounds pretty dope. Red sets it off wild, crazy flow. He's a dope MC no doubt about it. Creepin' has a dope vibe too.
Was disappointed in Blackout when it first dropped, haven't listened in a very long time. There was one hard a** RZA beat on there though, Run 4 Cover.

Tical is a classic. One of the darkest albums ever recorded in rap.
Meth’s last album is highly slept on in here.
Far as Redman, he had one of the best 4 album runs of any solo rapper I could think of, starting with What? and ending with Docs The Name. All the beats knocked, west coast samples and wild flows for days. Plus all the skits were funny af.

Malpractice is crazy slept on from Redman , his others deserve the praise too but that one should get more love Malpractice was wack and a huge disappointment. It was worse than Raekwon’s follow up to OBCL. The only song worth listening to on Malpractice is the first track where he raps over that DOC beat. The rest was shockingly awful. Weak beats and no name guest spots, Red with corny rhymes Completely wack album. Malpractice is where Redman fell off hard. His last good album was Red Gone Wild. It’s not slept on. It’s ignored on purpose because it sucks so bad.

They would destroy over the right beats. Cosign eseph about them as guest spots to.

reds a goat, his loosies in the 90s kills all that s**t. He’s really lived that life , stealing cars, robbing cats in the streets , running from police , his trap house was on MTV cribs , he’s like Méths older bad brother
