In 2001, HoopsTV released a streetball video set to rap music called “Ball Above All”. The credits say the music was mixed by Set Free and Daddy-O.
The song in question appears last on the DVD before the credits roll. I am looking for the artist and song title for the song that appears at the 7:47 minute mark and stops at the 10:47 minute mark in the YouTube video below. The song features 3 different rappers and there is no hook. They sound like East Coast rappers but I could be wrong. The flow is raw at times but legit.
Any help would be great. I’ve been trying to find this song for 20+ years!

Track is real dope and I’d agree with YGE, it sounds like some Wu-affiliate type s**t. Tried to do some searching. Interestingly, found a mention of Daddy-O (RIP unfortunately). And it’s a pic with Shyheim and True Master. The pic is from 2000-2001. http://instagram.com/p/C1e_x-pLFtC

This has Wu family all over it. Y kim / Arabian Knight production IMO. If you go towards the end of this video during the shoutouts - 12:27 = Royal Family - "Bounce". I can't find this song. Not a track from Yesterday, Today, Iz Tomorrow or Black castle, Years Months Dayz or any other singles / B sides. At the 5.32 mark of the song(the one i shared/ uploaded) I hear the name "Timbo's, the rugged" mentioned, as in Timbo King = Royal fam, if that's what is being said / referred to. I also can't find the song Slakah "don't stop" But i found another track from him, and he doesn't fit any of the voices and is a solo artist. The rest of the songs mentioned in the production credits i found/ know = isn't the one I'm quite certain it's the "Royal fam - Bounce" tack listed in the credits. I'd be very surprised if this wasn't Wu / Staten affiliated. But.... these guys don't sound like anyone i've heard on Royal fam joints? Been a long minute since i spun their albums...... Here is the track vocaroo.com/1nvzNBwh2YLo

Good stuff yall. Can someone ask about the song in question in the Wu tang forums, see if the song rings a bell for anyone over there? Unfortunately it looks like they are not accepting new members so I can’t post.

As far as the music credits go, the DVD gives special thanks to RAPSTATION.com and here is the full list and where they appear in the DVD (parts 1 and 2 broken out in YouTube)
Cashmere The Professional “Nun-A-Yall” @5:10 minute mark (part 1)
Royal Family “Bounce” ??
Slakah “Don’t Stop” @1:22 minute mark (part 2)
Hieroglyphics “You Never Know” (Remix) @22:08 minute mark (part 1)
Spooks “Things I’ve Seen” (Crude Mix)@3:48 minute mark (part 2)
DJ Muggs “When the Fat Lady Sings”@14:16 minute mark (part 1)
Hyennas in the Desert “Can you feel it?” ??
Golden Child “Born Invisible”@14:34 minute mark (part 1)
As you can see, we have 2 songs unaccounted. The Hyennas song is definitely a song that exists, it just does not appear anywhere in the DVD and definitely not the song in question.
The “Royal Family” Bounce I can’t find anything online about this song’s existence, so there’s no way to confirm if that’s the song in question. To add to the confusion, @9:06 minute mark (part 1), Bow Wow’s “Bounce with me” appears, yet Bow Wow is not in the music credits. It’s possible there was a mix up and they meant Bow Wow’s song instead.
The fact that the Hyennas song was put on the credits and they fumbled Bow Wow’s song name, I can easily see the producers making an error of not listing the song in question. Also Golden Child’s song is called “Born Invinsible”, not “Born Invisible”, another error. And if we get picky, Hieroglyphics song is called “You Never Knew” not “You Never Know”.

Yes, big thanks to Vintage Wu over at the Wu Tang forums, he identified the song. I always said these cats sounded like East Coast rappers so I was surprised to see they are from Sweden. They have little to no European accent in this song at least. Even someone like Redrama, a Finnish emcee from Helsinki, has a noticeable European accent in his songs.
It’s evident the DVD producers (HoopsTV.com) made yet another mistake with the DVD music credits. They either made a big innocent spelling mistake or did it on purpose. They got the word “Royal” and the first letter of the title “B” correct but that’s it. Definitely some type of copyright infringement on behalf of the DVD producers.
