I don’t care if it’s hip-hop, soul, rock, rnb, jazz, country, classical etc.
What is the greatest song of all time?

Really hard to post something without catching grief, given that we are talking a very VERY high accolade here. Pump this one with some nice stereo or headphones and have your mind blown.

I’m gonna say I Wanna Hold Your Hand. It’s so simple and effective, yet it’s got a couple tricks thrown in there, mainly that twang when they changes cords and say “I think you’ll understand”. Also the claps are a lot of fun. It explains a feeling that any human can relate to in the simplest and catchiest way possible. Holding a girls hand.

The still pose @ the 7 second mark is Boss!. I want a HD poster of that. Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield simply command respect as a duo. The pose Hatfield has @ 1:22 Mark(Always wanted know what he was thinking with that stare) then transitions to join Medley and stands up (as if he's saying "ok, lets do this") @1:30 is epic. Boss for its day and even for today.
TO keep it hip hop related.... If i'm forced to pick one song as GOAT that represents hip hop as a whole, IMO.......

Holding a girls hand. i like the beatles a lot. id put Yesterday, Imagine, Here Comes the Sun, Hey Jude up there with some of the greatest songs. a few led zeppelin & pink floyd songs come to mind as well...stairway to heaven, kashmir, time...

I just feel I Wanna Hold Your Hand is pop music perfected. It’s short, to the point and makes you want to rewind. It’s not complicated or pretentious. And it’s been recorded in probably every language.
The message is you make me happy. A baby can understand it.
Stairway is great but it’s dealing with heavier subject matter.

Too many and all depends but the Beethoven post makes sense. One of my favorites:

I'd love to participate, but it is essentially impossible. It would have to be something world-reaching that influenced everyone. James Brown, Michael Jackson, Mozart, etc.
As for hip hop I'll pick Liquid Swords. Pretty much every hip hop fan knows that song and it knocks crazy. Could go so many ways though.

That’s a dope Sabbath song but you like that more than War Pigs? White people will lose their minds.

Should have picked “Let it be” instead. This song, I have listen to on repeat when my mind was going crazy and it somehow helped.
Also, not saying it’s the greatest of all times but I have digged into some old 70s sound over the last year and this one is gold.

This is my all time favorite...play it at my funeral on repeat.
Home is where I want to be Pick me up and turn me round I feel numb, burn with a weak heart I guess I must be having fun The less we say about it the better Make it up as we go along Feet on the ground Head in the sky It's ok I know nothing's wrong... nothing Hi yo I got plenty of time Hi yo you got light in your eyes And you're standing here beside me I love the passing of time Never for money Always for love Cover up + say goodnight... say goodnight ... Home, is where I want to be But I guess I'm already there I come home, she lifted up her wings Guess that this must be the place I can't tell one from another Did I find you, or you find me? There was a time before we were born If someone asks, this where I'll be where I'll be Hi yo we drift in and out Hi yo sing into my mouth Out of all those kinds of people You got a face with a view I'm just an animal looking for a home Share the same space for a minute or two And you love me till my heart stops Love me till I'm dead Eyes that light up, eyes look through you Cover up the blank spots Hit me on the head ah ooh
Bars...
