What do you think is the theme of the album, what with the Aux chords on the cover and all.
Is there a message?
Agree - the songs I've heard on shuffle have been pretty nice!

got me bro! been lovin this album. blockhead can pull off any style rather effortlessly it seems. best w aesop, brewin, and woods for sure! everyone does great on here though. i like some of the new dudes!
and to answer your question egg,
The Aux finds the veteran producer playing matchmaker with some of his favorite artists and the result is an indie hip-hop All-Star game of an album; highlight reel dunks, allez-oops, and deep threes coming too fast to count. Blockhead tapped billy woods as an executive producer, and between the two of them put together a tracklist that effortlessly weaves together artists from different eras and scenes.

I don't typically watch this guy's videos, he is a bit too wordy for my taste, but he definitely goes in depth and is good at describing the album.
I'll try to give it a listen sometime. I like Blockhead for the most part, some of his s**t is too out there for me. Music By Cavelight will always be his magnum opus.

I admit I listen to this guy, it's a love to hate sort of thing but he does analyze things well.

reminds of some cold a** underground rap from boston like this joint from reks back in the day

This was aight. I would of preferred he drop another instrumental album lol. I was listening to Uncle Tony's Coloring Book last night and I love it everytime, an all-time favorite.
I've been on an Aesop Rock kick lately, so this one was my favorite track even though it just made me want to say "this is ron simmons, DAMN!"
