I am looking for a track I guess is called Baby
I heard it on a mixtape around 2004
The mixtape CD said Kay Slay Vote or die' on it but I am certain this was the wrong mixtape title as have checked Kay Slays Vote or die and is not on there. it may have been DJ Clue but was from around that time.
The producer used a sample that said Baby' like every few seconds. it was of course a sample from a love song but the rapper was rapping only about Money : ) Rapper was talking like he was talking about a girl when in fact it was money.
Went something like this:
I spend you but I always get you back because your my... then the sample says - Baby'
Other guys just waste you but I know your importance... then the sample says - Baby' I cant live without my... then the sample says - Baby'
Does anyone know this track?

No, it is not fabolous.
As said, the rapper is talking about Money not women. They used the Baby' sample as a joke as it sounds like hes talking about women but is not

The track is not about a girl, or by some poem rapper.
Track has an important message, someone must know what its called?
Someone show me Underground Hip Hop Forum is worth its salt...

I bought Reakwons purple tape in Miami when I was 12! I grew up on Wu tang long before rappers ever wore skinny jeans or encouraged children to engage in crime they HAVE NOT. I take music seriously and Iv really lived through what the REAL rappers have so have a right to hold Real hip hop dear to me. I stated the track was about money not women and folks are suggesting Fabolous and TLC? : ( Thats not serious responses. Thank you |
