Has anyone else had problems with drugs and alcohol. I’ve been struggling with it for years. I’m sober now but from time to time when I relapse I really send it. I mean days upon days of drinking doing drugs, whatever comes my way, I’ll spend thousands in strip clubs, usually take one home, sometimes two. Then I wake the f**k up and try and get sober, I can go months straight, swear I’ll stay that way then boom. Back in the titty bar off my face again.
Any help my friends?

Sounds like binging. Is there anything that triggers these episodes? Do you notice anything in your mind or body before you go out and get hammered? What does it do for you?
Best advice I would have is to stay connected with others and attend support groups if they are available in your area. Once you feel yourself getting triggered, reach out to someone. Other strategies include distracting your mind until the urge passes. This can be exercise, meditation, listening to music, or any activity really that takes your mind off the thought of, "I need to go to the strip club and get hammered." I am a big believer in exercise, nutrition, and sleep to help manage stress levels. Personal talk therapy can be helpful as well. Identifying and processing any subconscious thoughts and emotions that fuel your binges can help you deal with impulse control. Sitting with yourself can be difficult, but I am sure you can do it. Spending $1000s at the strip club is crazy , stop going there and get you a few female friends that will do you for free. Girls get into strip clubs for free so you can take a girl to a strip club and have fun without paying

I do have female friends that I have been with, could still be with if I asked. I don't know, something about the strip club and throwing the cash around, it allures me.
My reach out was more about the booze and the coke.
I'll be alright, I go to meetings and take it 1 day at a time.
