I listen to Metal and Hip Hop probably in similar proportions.
Slaughter to Prevail be like Russian Slipknot deathcore hybrid (3:35 mark slams):
This some blackened death core but, break down at 5:00 = dumb good:
This duo "Darko" is sick (also deathcore-ish)
Fit for an Autopsy sick blend of deathcore and Gojira TBH:
Gojira are still good IMO (softer metal):
Bonus track some Metalcore (the breakdown at the end is silly good):
Don't even get me going on Black Metal there is s**t loads of that out there that kicks arse.

Me and my grandpa would do those public storage auctions and sell em at the flea market one time we got boxes of metal vinyl from the 80s and he gave em to me I had about 300 of Em I was selling em at the flea market for 50 cents to a dollar like a dumb a** I had Iron Maiden’s , blue oyster cult , I had the Metallica kill em all, if only I knew

I've been a fan of deftones ever since vans warped tour around the year 2000, I already had around the fur and I had maybe just purchased white pony?!
Still a fan I feel like their material has not been as good in recent years.
I used to listen this song and feel inspired, like it was ok to be different.
Then only recently I found out the song is about electrocuting a girl in a bath and removing her and drying her. Messed up.

Yep, quite like my metal also, but being a old fooker i mostly like the older stuff like iron maiden, pantera, metalicas first 2 albums, ozzy, exhorder.
Also like disturbed, slipknot and a few (what i call) newer bands but yeah...mostly into the older stuff, did LOVE triviums firts album though and this was one of my fave songs on there.
