I've never get into Krit; Ii think I listened to the 'Cadillactica' album quickly when it came out and that was it.
I kind of feel like he's in league with Dave East, I could be wrong.
Do you recommend any of his albums?

Krit has always been that rapper that can make some incredible music but can't make a classic album. His debut mixtape KRIT Wuz Here is the closest he's come to that, honestly. I still think he has it in him to make a classic, but lately he hasn't really been putting anything out. Hoping he bounces back with something dope because I've always rocked with him.

Also worth mentioning he produces all his s**t. most of it anyway. My favorite album of his was 4evaNaDay. I would say that and K.R.I.T. Wuz Here are his 2 best, IMO. haven't heard everything a pretty good amount though
krit might be too country sounding for you Night Rider lol i know you gave him a chance and youre not feeling it, i get it its not usually my style either. but I f**ked with krit for a while. gonna post a few more tracks

One of the homies thinks that he's the dopest to do it. I bought one of his albums, but I never saw what other people were hyped about tbh. I guess he's an acquired taste type of rapper.

I can see where you coming from. The southern twang can throw people off tbh. The early mixtapes were excellent but I believe when he went to Def Jam, that magic started to wear off. He didn't surround himself with the best music and Def Jam didn't do a great job promoting him. Him leaving the label and going independent was a great decision. The albums he dropped the last 6 years have been stellar and was able to have creative freedom 4Eva Is A Mighty Long Time(2017) K.R.I.T Iz Here (2019) Digital Roses Don't (2022) |
