since my bday was last week i think ya'll should let this breathe on the Hip Hop board for a few days. Essence right off the bat, you'll notice the audio quality isn't studio quality, but give it a shot and i promise you will like this. especially if you love the movie as much as me! |

And there’s no more Datpiff I had a old mixtape on there but I’ll never hear those sings again

thanks ya'll! appreciate the feedback observe. i was totally different back then. always tried to adapt to whatever speed or style, but i hear what your saying. plus i still tried to make every album i was making fill up a whole cd-r back then smh. almost needs split in to 2 acts or 2 volumes by todays standards
rip datpiff.
i hate thinking about songs i've made that i lost track of through the years.

I took off the outlook from Bandcamp after I had it up for 2 years  |

Yeah I don’t know all the songs I did, my boy sent me 3 songs last year that I didn’t remember doing, I prob have more songs on his computer that I don’t remember if he didn’t lose em. You rap way better on slow beats than you do on regular and fast beats , you’re not a good fast rapper. Southern rappers rap on slow beats , just a heads up |

i always think i might pack up the fam and move south one day. change my name to lil skip and have a late career 2 chainz run in the slam poetry game.
you never know. my next ep is raps to mostly slower, soulful chill type beats. not much drums. trying to get somebody to mix it for me for cheap. my former engineer guy has not accepted my offer to do so yet, but he is busy running an hvac company now so maybe i will see who else can help. this is the area i always fell short. trying to do it all on my own instead of focusing on rapping and letting other skilled people help in the different areas that sometimes require some sort of compensation. if i had a lot of extra money, i def would be paying someone to mix and master everything.
in fact, anybody here interested in helping mix some songs? just message me on here and let me know what your price to mix a song or two. we'll start with that and if it works out it would be like 9-10 tracks total that need mixed and i can finally put something new out. lol been jonesing. one of the reasons, i been digging all these old albums out of the stash and uploading them to bandcamp. got to put more on streaming. i been slacking on using my first year of my media famous membership.
