I need help making my first diss track. So I have a macbook Air, and an iphone. I played this beat off of my laptop while wearing cheap earbuds. Then I took my iphone and recorded myself rapping over this beat obviously it sounds like s**t/cringe. So how can I mix my lyrics with the beat to make it sound professional (and most importantly get back at this guy who dissed me!). I have the imovie, and garageband app however I am kinda on a tight budget. I need a step by step guide. -Thank you š

this s**tās hilarious š you could just open the beat and acapella lyrics on separate tracks in the sampler section of garageband and merge them together that way

Is there a way i can edit in garageband so the lyrics and instrumental beat are in synch despite being separate files? (Sorry to ask stupid questions first time using garageband)

DL this app called spire music (better than garage band) itās free. Google convert YouTube videos to MP3. Copy YouTube link and paste to convert it, save to files , make sure you have some apple headphones , import file to spire and record over the beat you can save back to files

(this guy I know really dissed me in front of everyone so I need to DESTROY him with this diss track! š

in garageband you could record over the beat using the built in-mic feature, thats what I used to do
