Just found his bandcamp. Never really listened to Defcee. I like this track, likely gonna cop the EP. Good looks.

yeah i'm never really disappointed by anything zilla puts out, future former rapper last year was dope too. there's also a grift company album on the way, zilla and curly castro. then the collab from premrock and curly castro "shrapknel" after that, all of those guys stay busy

Don't forget the release of chance the rapper's "first album", as well. He might not be liked here, and the new album might be terrible (this, coming from a chance fan, not a hater), but, regardless, it's a major release that's a big win for chicago hip hop.

Just found his bandcamp. Never really listened to Defcee. I like this track, likely gonna cop the EP. Good looks. not surprised honestly, his name never really gets brought up for some reason even though he's worked with a bunch of other chicago artists including saba and noname who are pretty big right now. real humble & appreciative too, sent me this project early on twitter because i showed support when he released the original summer courses which was basically this ep as one long track without any of the features. knowsthetime is a great producer too, he also does the production for the defprez projects. what do you think of this? |

lamon manuel mentioned earlier this year that tomorrow kings has some music coming out soon, doesn't seem like he's going to be involved in whatever it is though which is unfortunate. jyroscope.bandcamp.com/album/mute new jyroscope project from this year at least, everyone but skech, gilead, and lamon are on it |
