But this place is dead. I've been accused of talking to myself in threads enough but ther is literally an infinite supply of new and old and topics we could break bread over here. And it isn't the music like I said or the fact that thers only 15-20 active users here really. I don't wanna have to alwayssss be the one to make topics or buck or obmj. This place is gonna die like the other if we don't contribute some more. Please lets keep this thing of ours going. Thanks Gino

Then I respect Rareform, Eseph, Stat. I hardly post here because I just started higher paying and responsible work. Also connecting with my fans and friends on my Instagram. I still have love for ughh. Forums in general may be phased out in time I think. Instagram and YouTube are especially forums. Ughh was specialized. Coli is major and pulls from Hip Hop culture in a broad way. I like ughh and hope it lasts. What date or year did freeforums start?

The new member thing is a bane. It’s locked down and requires approval to make an account. There’s no way for me to tell who’s legit and who’s Ollie, so basically, no new members have been approved in months.
The other thing, this is done through a free service. Meaning, we are bound to their Terms Of Service. So as long as there are users out there who want to spam the board with explicit and prohibited content or other users who want to report said content to the provider, well, we’re kind of stuck fellas.

that sounds like tippi complaining . I have always stayed true to the core principles of ughh etiquette and have never had any issue with you =.
now that the disabled gimp seeler is gone there hasnt been any fgt blk poarn posted what a shock. so nothing paosted is against the terms of whatever the f**k u were saying.
remove the dumb lockdown on aprrovales for new accounts and start promoting this forum on social media and facebook.
or just contact icon the size queen ipullrank and buy the og domain for pennies on the dollar

It's definitely not lack of music because there's a ton of s**t coming out every week. It doesn't help though when people try to put other posters onto something and get replies of "fgt s**t" or 3 pages of Buck going off on everyone. The ughh regulars are used to it and just roll with it but I could see new members seeing that s**t and being like f**k this place lol. Also like Crump said, forums in general are on the downslide but who knows maybe people will get tired of that other s**t and flock back to forums and we'll get a return to the golden days. I mean almost certainly not but I guess it could happen.

From my view Ollie was jokes. From parent company - they don't tolerate wild posts. And I'm not for the gay porn here. Or any porn. This is a hip hop board, that should have the ground rules followed - then opened up to more members. What if we bought the name back? And the exact same format? White, blue, yellow, ughh logo. Equals, you've been doing great running this so far. This place needs discipline! Some of y'all hip hop bobble heads lack discipline!

I’ve created censors for words that violate the TOS and you just abbreviate to get around it. You also PM’ed about not banning you. I asked you one question, how many accounts do you have. And you replied that was the only one. That was like 2 accounts ago. And this account you just posted with was created forever ago. I’m not complaining about s**t. I fully understand why the boards are in the state they are in. If people wouldn’t act like a****ts, we wouldn’t be in this position. We either open up the forums to all and have a no tolerance approach or we keep as is. How the few act is dependent on the experience of the many. That’s the facts. I’d pay for full service of these forums but we’d still be bound by their TOS.

It is what it is. I appreciate having a place to come to in order to learn about new hip hop releases. Even if I don't listen to the majority of them, at least I know what is out there. Appreciate people contributing.

It's just so negative, it drains the motivation to engage. Yeah that sums it up perfectly. The forum became 90% negativity/trolling/drama/personal beef, and maybe 10% actual music discussion on a good day which in turn made the people having those discussions in the first place post less and less frequently. On the old forum all the bulls**t was tolerable because the ratio was a lot closer to 50/50.

I can't be bothered to read all the essays Buck writes when he has a hard on for another poster
Its just the same boring s**t over and over
So I hardly check this place anymore, its a shame as most posters have interesting s**t to say but finding it among the Buckf**kery takes too long
Lack of new blood will kill this place tbh

Props to everyone here for having the most mature discussion I've seen on here.
Equals - I too have appreciated swear words. I'm sorry for that I didn't know it could effect the parent company's policy.
Also is it okay if I call you Equals, Equals or E?
My cell keyboard is too difficult to get to the = all the time.
Or let me know what else I can call you by. You're doing a great job by the way and I would give you up loot to get ughh.com or get this place a higher service or url.

Same answer for both..Getting put on to new s**t that I wouldn't have checked for and being able to do the same for other posters. There's always been s**tposting as far back as the old forums but when it becomes 95% of the posts, you get a bunch of posters laughing at their own jokes and new posters not getting it and moving on to something else. Quest kinda cool tho

Quest kinda cool tho I agree. I was put on to alot of rare tracks from artists I admire. What I liked about ughh.com was The basic format The easy to use format Knowing it hardly changed, unlike MySpace The rare tracks The news Exclusives Fans who are passionate about hip Hop culture Fans from different regions/countries Then the actually funny jokes The original jokes like using teh, The Raised Owl cover, funny ppl Then for certain the artists that released physical product Cool ppl in general Intellectuals

The advantage of ughh.com was it's character that you can't get on other forums, twitter, Insta.

I think this is a general response or number of users, especially when we talk about underground hip hop. Unfortunately, such forums are doomed to slow death, survive only some general forums aimed at larger population. I was a member of the old one and this one now; like both of them, but here aren't many contributions and consequently I don't know anything new when it comes to music. If I have time and I remember, I post what I like.

I'm grateful there are alot of people here who have been on ughh.com, and are here now too. That's definitely longevity. Things and trends move hella fast on the net. Like Sun computers, Vines, MySpace.
Jay Z and Nas remind us of great longevity. And Necro. Word.

Now it might be, but that definitely wasn't the case a year or so ago up until pretty recently. Even legit threads would just devolve into people insulting each other for unrelated personal reasons, and i'm assuming seeing that drives people away. All of that bulls**t culminated in registration being locked (no new blood) basically, a lot of threads being wiped, censorship, etc since the board got reported by one of the trolls and we were in threat of being shut down due to breaking ToS. That's just what I saw happening, but for me a lot of members who had similar taste stopped posting regularly and most of the members who were active didn't seem to be interested in what I would post so I redirected that energy to posting in various hip hop discord servers instead, which was more enjoyable and in a way made this place obsolete. I started one for UGHH but not enough people joined it or if they did they weren't very active so that kind of fizzled out too. It'd be dope to just have a community where people can discuss music though and i'd love for this place to see a revival of some sort.

Happen. Again in a sense it's teamwork and respect. I respect Eseph, Equals, Pop Kill, Rareform, Liotta, Lex. All those I know on a bit of a deeper level and they're all great people. I interact with them, then family, and friends in real life. It's chemical equations of great people!
