As an avid TV viewer im curious as to some of the shows you heads watch on the regular?
With all of my shows on winter hiatus for another few weeks i began peeping this show...
For a show on SyFy it's pretty f**king DAFFY. Buffy meets Supernatural in a B Movie kind of way. Also just started season 4 of Person Of Interest. Best show ive watched since Breaking Bad.
Regular shows I watch: Supernatural, Flash, Arrow, Walking Dud, Vice Principals, Orphan Black, Westworld, iZombie, Mr Robot

I can never get into shows like Arrow or that one on Sci fi. I donno, sitcoms or prime time television never keeps my interest. Walking Dead and Breaking Bad were alright, but for the most can only f**k with HBO series.

I feel you SP. I've always been a fan of network TV going way back. Only drawback is 23 episodes over the course of 8 months with hiatuses in-between is a big investment. Walking Dead is mad overrated but one of those shows that ill continue to watch since i already invested so much time into the series.
Haven't really f**ked with too many HBO shows of late. Westworld and Vice Principals were the last two. Before that I can't even remember. Maybe True Blood which sucked it's last few seasons. What newer HBO shows would you recommend? Not a big comedy fan so prefer action or drama. BTW not HBO show but i highly recommend Banshee if you havent peeped it yet. It's a Cinemax show that just ended after 4 seasons. Action, hella violence, sex, etc. One of the better shows ive seen in recent memory. Season 3 is the best season of any show ive ever watched.
Yo Prof you watch any of the new Black Mirror episodes yet? I peeped three of them. San Junipero was my favorite of the three.

I need to get on Banshee and Westworld. Heard people taking about it.
I was into Starz series Power. It was entertaining, but nothing amazing. Dope a** intro though. I haven't seen any new episodes pop up lately tho.
Started the OA. First episode got me interested, but haven't watched anymore.
I'm sure once the weather turns to s**t in the new few weeks, I'll be binge watching most of this.

Clockworx The first season of True Detectives is brilliant. Game of Thrones is great, but when I think about it guess that's really it right now. That show Scorsese did 'Vinyl' sucked a** and probably won't be back for a second season. All the other great shows like Sopranos, the Wire, boardwalk empire, and Curb Your Enthusiasm are all old now. Westworlds on the come up, but I haven't peeped it yet. I definitely have to cosign Bateman and say I think movies are way doper than shows. Probably why I like HBO shows or Stranger Things, they have a movie feel to them.

I haven't been watching anything since the most recent season of Shameless and Westworld Season 1 ended. I don't even know what else is on right now honestly, the only show i'm really looking forward to at the moment is Iron Fist on netflix but that's not until March.

I'm definitely TV > Movies but i did watch these two over the weekend...
^Movie was pretty f**king good. The ending was just ok but the lead up to it was dope with some decent jump scares. If you're a fan of horror/supernatural type of flicks id recommend it.
^The story within a story concept was well executed. The ending was left too open for interpretation for me. I don't mind movies that get you to think a little bit but this one was plastered with metaphors after metaphors. Still worth a watch.
Both of them id rate 7/10.

Twin peaks is coming back after a 25 years hiatus to Showtime. Both David Lynch and Mark Frost on board. Might be a little to old for most of you guys, but this show has one of the biggest cult followings for a TV show.

Clock, been wanting to see that Nocturnal Animals. Sounds like it's definitely worth the watch. Trailer looks amazing.
sp, Shameless is pretty damn lulz. I recently finished the first season... entertaining watch. And wtf?!?! Twin Peaks? That was my jam back in the day. Haven't watched that since those aired way back when.

Mad heads have been telling me to check out Shameless but it's in what, its 7th f**king season right now. That's a big time investment in a series that im not willing to make just yet. I started this one last week...
Few episodes in and it's aight so far. First season was only 13 episodes so ill probably finish it within the next few weeks. Second season is currently airing.
Yea bros Banshee is a terrific f**king show. Highly recommended.
Yo ETW that episode was pretty trill. Big Bopper Belding must've been a treat to listen to on the radio.

The Knick...check it out if you haven't seen it. There's weird ailments in nearly every episode. A guy stomps on live rats for entertainment and ends up getting meningitis.
Bouts to check out Westworld and Goliath. Also heard good things about Search Party.

fargo is soooooooooo good, clock. season two is even better. it doesn't get much better than season two of fargo. i wish i had time to re-watch it, but there's too much other s**t to watch.
my step dad gave me season four of the americans, so i'm real excited to watch that, once i'm done with westworld. i also really want to watch atlanta, since i'm hearing so much hype about it.
what didn't i like about nocturnal animals? there were two storylines in that film, and i wasn't feeling the less exciting one at all. also, amy adams was basically doing her best impression of nicole kidman in the film. i don't know, the film seemed kind of pretentious, due to the one storyline. i mean, the whole ending relied on you caring about the female character of that storyline, and there wasn't much effort throughout the film to make you care about her. i'm not saying you either did or didn't care about her, i'm just saying there was little effort put into it, so i, personally, didn't really care about what did or didn't happen to her. i was reading this writing book yesterday, where it was talking about how a protagonist needs to be active and have an active goal. the protagonist of one of the storylines in nocturnal animals was very active and had an active goal (man, this is tough without spoilers, lol), whereas the protagonist of the second storyline was the most passive protagonist of all time, so it was hard to get engaged in that second storyline. the film ends with the second storyline, and the ending that's supposed to be a real gut punch to the audience didn't really feel like one to me, since i didn't sympathize with the character that the ending effected. i sympathized more with the other person in that storyline.
hopefully that made sense. it's hard to discuss without spoilers, especially when there are two plotlines.

Been catching up on Luke Cage, got 3 episodes to go. I'd say Netflix Daredevil is still the best out of that Jessica Jones and Luke Cage so far. Thought it was funny 2 episodes back to back had similar cliffhanger endings when i was watching it yesterday. Watching Ash vs Evil dead right now as well.

I kinda sorta figured out what you were referring to 88. The main story with Amy Adams' character was pretty bland at times. The story inside the story part was f**king awesome. I've read a few interpretations of the ending. One that makes the most sense is the whole thing was a big 'f**k you' in a revenge sort of way.
Only Netflix shows ive watched in full are Jessica Jones and Stranger Things. Both were about 8/10 for me. I watched 2 episodes of Luke Cage and 1 of Daredevil over the summer. Then all my network shows got off hiatus so i never went back to them. Luke Cage didn't do much for me a couple episodes in.

yeah, that's exactly what it was. a big f**k you. but, since i didn't care about the person the insult was directed at, it wasn't the gut punch it was supposed to be. agreed that the other story was fun.
