Album is absolute fire.
Of all Roc's self produced stuff I think this one actually sounds the most polished and varied. A lot of different, interesting samples that sound less like his previous works and more like an improvement on them, to be honest.
Tom Chambers is absolutely crazy, and to think Roc produced that track is even crazier. The track sounds like a song that Alchemist in his prime would have produced.
This is Roc in peak form, sonically...and especially with the lyrics.

He usually let's his albums live exclusively on his site for about a month or 2 before adding it everywhere. I'd expect physicals to pop up on Fat Beats within a month too.

I couldn't get into the production on this one at all. I liked Rosebuds Revenge and RR2 way better. I'll pass on this one. I knew when I saw the topic that Weather was definitely going to be in here claiming it was the album of the century!

album is mega dope. crazy samples so when the drums are light in most cases its OK. he does it the best and crafts the beats and is being creative with it- with some major sample selections, tight sample flipping and that ear! he's got a good ear for not only what sample is dope but how to play with them to create a certain effect. track with pirate roc flips that song a few times. beat changes! important emcee/producer. only a couple tracks that will get skipped sometimes cause they are just not my style (average sample mixed with no drums mixed with too subdued sound).
album further cements him as the 2000's goat.
ephisians track is so ill its almost hard to take.

^ lol, yeah i hadn't heard it yet and i always dug most of his stuff. remember i did speak very positive on RR2, a dark horse, marcburg, reloaded etc. but everything he drops aint amazing. i was trying to stir things up a bit on hhb though and turns out a few agree that sometimes its too subdued.
roc has the best beats on the album so he didnt even need alan but animoss brought a extra weird and dope sample and beat.
roc also rhymes the best over the chill, minimal, soulful beats.
soon as i heard it, it shot up to like a top 3 album for the year.
