oghh come on down, what can you tell me about big orko eloheim So I first heard the name, Orko The Sycotic Alien float around from the pretty obscure collectives, Global Phlowtations, Masters Of The Universe and stuff like that. He's been part of the scene since back then but he is so elusive and eclectic, I haven't even really dived deeply into his material. All his production and MC work is dope and fits in well with the early Good Life/Project Blowed style, leaning more towards the Phoenix Orion/Alien Nation dance hall influenced sound although I can't remember if he was ever part of or featured on any of those albums. Chill guy like most of them and I love to see him work but seriously, other than directly from him, I'm not even sure how most people got any of his music back in the day. I was really looking forward to a project they were working on for years that changed so many times but eventually ended up evolving into the Ancient Future - Conversations With God album with Aceyalone. Turned out really good, especially for a underground club vibe or when you just want to zone out into the outer atmosphere on beats and rhymes. slippers.bandcamp.com/album/mars

thanks for the info, interesting stuff. you the man. No problem! Your post reminded me that I wanted to check some of his older stuff again and I listened to that Eyemagedon album yesterday and enjoyed it quite a bit. He reminded me of P.E.A.C.E. on a lot of the tracks and the beats were nice. I also forgot he did stuff with Johaz (Dag Savage/Dirty Science), Big Jus (Company Flow) and a bunch of other people since back in the day. Like I said, his roots run deep but I rarely see him mentioned. Which also makes me curious how you came across this and most the stuff you post in these dumps. Is it just stuff that get fed to you in a streaming service based on your preferences?

That all makes sense. Streaming has rarely ever suggested anything new to me that was worth it. Except YouTube, they seem to have the best algorithms. These days, I like the Bandcamp platform since I can choose exactly what I want to hear and get its coming directly from the artists. I still have several lifetimes worth of CDs to go through and hopefully transfer someday but again, it’s become more convenient to just find it already online sometimes.
