I tend to partially dislike the "top of..." lists but it also helps to keep the forum alive and let everyone know what we liked and listened more. That way we could also learn about new artists or albums that we didn't know exist but are worth our time |

even more than ever i don't get a chance to peep everything so guys like lex, max, tip, mask help remind me of ones i still need to go back and add to the collection.
ay someone lmk when mello music has one of dem sales i need a lot of their titles. so many that i cant afford to cop em all including the new homeboy sandman and chris orrick and the lasso cd dropping next month, the last 2 chris orricks before that (wtf i really fell off a listening to this dude when the name changed from red pill lol), paul barman cd (still, damn smh i remember making a thread about how excited i was to hear this at the old ughh forum and i still haven't heard it. sorry paul.), still need quelles latest, the one with quelle and tippi jean grae which was supposedly aoty last year etc...
not gonna lie, i feel a lil outta the loop and i been only sticking to a few certain groups that have dominated most of my purchases this year (soul assassin, grilchy party, and wrecking crew/backwoodz been my go to's for the most part but i was glad to see dillon and sadistik both pop back up with super strong releases for the year.)

Damn... Only one mention of Eto's album with Superior, Long Story Short? That's definitely my album of the year so far. You guys are sleeping on it. Personally I think it is way better than his album with Muggs. Superior's production style fits Eto a lot more than Muggs imo. If you haven't listened to the album, check it out below.

geez how many projects has eto dropped this year? i'll be honest espesh cuz i usually only hear these albums if i get a cd or tape copy dudes like him have been hard to keep up on. i just dont got all the extra $$
NOW him and muggs i copped off the strength of the collab off dia del aesinado and due to the buzz muggs been steadily building these last few years i was heavily anticipating that release so it was a guaranteed cop.
i also has the omerta tape produced by v-don which is very nice.
whats his next best album i should check for? everyone's talking like the new one with flee lord is really good

I like the Eto Superior, bought the CD but I found myself going back to the Muggs one more. This is probably my favorite recent Muggs release outside of the first joint with Mey. Kill Em All is really dope too but I wanted the CD, only not for 30 bucks plus shipping so that's one I haven't given too much burn.

i still think that kill em all cd will pop up on fat beats eventually and so will members only ep on cd. watch me duke watch me!
i think i'm all but done with copping sa releases with those inflated prices. they were all cool albums but with so many released his year its become a lil over saturated and taxing on the pockets. and now that i think about it, all 4 projects this year that have dropped i haven't had the need to go back to much the last few months.
