I love Apollo Brown, he is probably in my top 10 producers all time, subjectively speaking. I enjoy The Reset as well, I think eseph sold me that CD if I am not mistaken haha, and now I am re-selling it on Discogs for $80 lol. My only complaint with that album is that many of the beats sound the same. That is a common gripe with Apollo Brown, cuz he samples so much soul and tends to chop his beats with the same formula. Plus his drums are always similar. I should peep that Cost of Living album, can't remember if I have heard that.
Five Deez, damn that is a group I haven't heard in a while. I believe J Rawls was in that group, maybe not. Not gonna google it lol.
Leaf Dog is cool, I like his album with Bronze Nazareth, although replay value is sort of low.

ha at ao, i never really loved that album. it was just ok to me. i recently went back to the first ugly heroes album and realize it's nowhere near as good as i thought it was 10 years ago. the best part of the group was red pill. verbal kent just sounds so corny lol and besides "gods day off" i was not feeling the beats as much.

Mellow is strong label from day one; they signed Apollo Brown, Gensu Dean, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Stalley, Homeboy Sandman, Joell Ortiz, Oddisee, Open Mike Eagle, Marv Won and Skyzoo among others....and this is the newest member

Apollo Brown - Clouds Oddisee - The Good Fight Oddisee - Rock Creek Park Apollo Brown & O.C. - Trophies Oddisee - Odd Seasons
HM - Apollo Brown & Guilty Simpson - Dice Game
oddisee and apollo brown really are mello music group. 2 of my favorite producers. l'orange and elaquent as well

Sorry man. I've had my album collection stolen twice, both a long time ago in high school back when CDs were the main form of music. I'd have close to 2,000 albums in my collection otherwise.
My iPod also died, even though it was mostly CDs I had ripped onto there.
I guess that is the good thing about Spotify and digital platforms, you can never lose it.

I dropped off the drive to someone who may be able to fix it or access it or whatever so I might get it back. Thinking about it, at least I have a list of the stuff with the last couple of dump threads lol. Just annoying if I lose it because of the wasted time and effort. Then again I do most of this at my job and get paid for it lol
