I stopped visiting this forum for months so last year I mainly listened whatever spotify/tidal algorithms recommended. It's good that I came back. There are some albums mentioned I didn't know about and I bet I'll like some of them

Ok so I gotta say something. A little bit of rant.
I normally don't care if someone thinks the best rapper is xyz or asd, I really don't. We all enjoy music differently, so we all have difference tastes.
But today.... Today I listened to ITS for the first time (last year's Aesop Rock album), so I gotta say something:
If you think Eminem is a better rapper and has a better catalogue than Aesop Rock or Slug then I don't want to get any sort of hip-hop advice from you, never!
We all know that many Eminem fans like his music not just because he is a very good rapper but also because he is white... and that's ok. I'm not even being sarcastic when I say that because nobody should feel bad for relating more to Eminem than someone like Murs or Black Thought. But if the race is that important you even if you don't want to acknowledge then make yourself a favour and listen to some Aesop Rock or Slug if you want to enjoy better rap music.
PS: I'm mentioning Slug too as that's the first one that came to mind when I thought about white rappers that do it better than Eminem but get les accolades (Slug is one of my all time favs actually), but there could be more that I just can't think of right now.
