*The featured artist is J-Live. I never listened to J-Live like that, thought his stuff like a bit boring. But never wack, consistent and well respected. Here I added some more of his material to the collection and also gave "Then What Happened?" a couple more spins which is a fine album. *The other featured artist is Oddisee. That Rosenberg was a series where Rosenberg made random calls to artists living in New York City, whoever answered and agreed to come to the studio, wrote and recorded on the spot. I love the Rock Creek Park, The Good Fight, Odd Seasons, The Odd Tape, Travelling Man etc albums..I know people also liked that Diamond District album but it never stuck with me, gonna give it another listen. *good to see araabmuzik putting some new s**t out. i remember he got shot on a couple different times daym. he blew my mind when i first heard his s**t and saw his videos Electronic Dream is 5/5 *Lol remember when some were trying to make "DAFFI" some UGHH slang. I guess Jeremiah Jae was one of them *I got some Steel Tipped Dove, these dumps sometimes have bird related material. Shout out to pigeonmike brrrrrrrrrr *Gino you were just talking about Jos Leduc and someone drops an instrumental album in his name lol. also the steiner bros right next to it. so much wrestling in hip hop now.

New kev brown was a little boring. I dug that "home school" joint from spit gemz though. you forgot to say he's a nasty latin spitter, gin lol. that home school collector's edition cover has a trippy optical cover with a best of compilation disc. he's been a favorite of mine post 2010. good to see him still active

I think that's a pretty varied mix you have there Ern, as always interested to know thoughts and mini reviews.
- Only Young Zee album I've heard is the one with Mr. Green, which I liked but the guy is hilarious I dk why I haven't delved in more
- That Lil Ugly Mane I read good things about but couldn't get into it
- Earl Some Rap Songs is really good IMO it was his peak, haven't enjoyed anything since as much
- 9th and Buck is a safe bet for a good album to throw on when ya mates come over, it wont scare anyone off
- Jakprogresso WILL scare most people off I like him though
- That Estee Nack was decent not my favourite gear of his
Thanks for posting.

Never checked for the Outsidaz as a group... Young Zee dropped those eps in 2022-2023, there's a couple more releases i havent posted of his so he's been dumping lately lol. I enjoyed Pace Won's albums with Mr. Green though, mainly "The Only Color That Matters is Green" I didnt last very long on the Lil Ugly Mane either, only a few minutes lol 9th Wonder & Buckshot had a nice little trilogy. Don't revisit them often but I go to the Formula out of the 3 I'll take a closer listen to that Earl. he has some stuff that's ok. did some nice s**t with armand hammer too

Few other notes
*Never heard that 2011 Kool G Rap EP before, someone on here mentioned it finally got around to checking it. its dope, ill take any kool g rap.. Riches, Royalty, Respect was one of my top albums of that year. that half a klip ep is a favorite too. GOAT
*still got to check out that l'orange/mr. lif
*maniac mansion beats lol anybody play Maniac mansion for the NES?
*i used to bump a couple of tracks off DJ Low Cut - NY Minute. Was meaning to check out Dead End for a few years, finally gave it a spin. french producer boom bap beats/ny rappers. masta ace, torae, ruste juxx, dirt platoon, spit gemz, q-unique, clever one, king magnetic etc on this. masta ace & torae was probably the best track

Some Rap Songs is cool, that is the only Earl album I like aside from his first one. Abstract album but it has a blunted hazy feel to it.
I listened to the Mr. Lif & L'Orange album a few months ago, I actually bought that CD. Underwhelming, but it has a couple nice tracks.

*The first 2 Hoop Dreams was produced by Nicholas Craven, this one was not. Still dope though *I deleted that Mr. Hyde a couple times and it keeps coming back lol. Killer Collage is a nice track though. *added the bonus tracks on that Mt. Marci, had one of them on repeat *i never heard that missy/eminem track until now lol *on that buze bruvas I heard one of them say their life was in jeporady like pat sajak, i got a good laugh out of that *new dj shadow *gino on that mene gene's tape there was like an unauthorized biography of rick rude track that was cracking me up check it out *observe's boy, talib kweli * bonus tracks on that PRhyme. it's a good album i'd give it 7.5 never listened to part 2.

Roc is my boy, but I could not get into Mt. Marci. That's his worst album imo. I think there are like two songs on there I like.
How is Liberation 2?
What's up with Nine Commandments? Is that different from Cloud 9? Classic album.
PRhyme is a solid 8/10 for me.

Talib has no good albums except for black star that would be a classic if you removed his verses

Marci's a dope album, Roc has never made a wack album Smoke On Records presents NINE - The 9 Commandments a 94'Demo which didn't make it to the album Cloud 9.
