I found this helpful video of top 10 Cage hooks.
He was sick with the hooks, and it made me realise this is something I see less of in this day and age. A good bridge or chorus.

That was after the cage I was a fan of, has his “new” style.

I read an interview once with Cage where he said that in a NY accent or slang it gets pronounced "hells winner" which is a play on words because he won or overcame such a messed up youth with the heroin addicted father, beatings and then mental institution etc.
I thought that was an interesting angle.
