Larry June has always been like a "Curren$y at home" kind of rapper. I'm sure Alc got some cool beats on here, just wish he gave them to anybody else.

Alchemist did work on this. Never really listened to Larry June and he's definitely got a monotone delivery and basic flow. That said, his lyrics make sense over these beats and on the handful of tracks he sings hooks on, he actually writes really good melodies and delivers them well. It's a good album all around.

I enjoyed the BTS doc, its always dope to me to see others work up close
Sure its staged up in the hired mansion w the hired cars and the chef coming over, but mixed w genuine studio footage and the vibe was promising
Album didnt really hit, singles was the best cuts out the bunch, which kinda makes sense but ultimately its a letdown
Mite revisit the doc tho

Solid album. Of course Alc can find better rappers, but this is a very laidback spacey sounding album and maybe you want to hear Vince Staples, Meyhem etc on some harder s**t.
Great to hear Slum V on this too.
