yeah i def liked it more than the other southern stuff like cash money and no limit that was dropping around that time. i was in 9th grade and we're talking 98-99 mind you. we listened to all the different stuff back then and 3-6 was raw. recently went back and re-copped certain albums and they're still sound dope. not trying to sell u buck, but yo me personally i think i just like the giant collectives of artists collabin ala wu, 3-6, and threads.

It’s ignorant jump around get crunk sht. I could see how on the first few listens, this might not be for everybody. But me hearing this in '95 was a game changer. And to think now at how many rappers have come out and said they were influenced by Three Six and the whole Memphis scene around this time. And rappers you wouldn't expect, like they don't make it obvious like A$AP and them. The beats were the thing that pulled me in first, like the s**t sounds like a horror movie set to drums. And imo, they never made it corny like the horrorcore rappers that kinda spawned outta this. But fr, RIP to Gangsta Boo. I just can't f**k with too many femcees but her verses always hit different.

Bone Thugs > 3-6 Mafia.
Although I will admit I’ve only heard a handful of 3-6 Mafia songs, it was enough that I knew I didn’t want to hear any more.

That sht sucks. I don’t like it at all.
It’s like the lowest form of music to me. I appreciate you trying to put me on but it’s just wack. I don’t get it.

I have tried many times over the years to get into 3 6 mafia.
Closest I got to liking their material was this album previewed below, which has a place in my gym playlist.
Still listening to it now it reminds me of that f**kin chump with the rainbow s**t.
