i need to check this. i always enjoy their stuff, but don't get much desire to go back and bump on the reg. but i guess same can be said for a lot of artists and maybe thats because the shear amount of great artists to choose from in my collection alone. i've been just bumping all the great lately. wu tang clan, nas, gangstarr, pun, etc. life's too short lol

Da Buze Bruvas catalog has the same dichotomy for me. Everything they drop is really dope but it's so consistent with their prior releases that I don't find myself going back to any of it a whole lot. I still feel the need to add it to my collection tho.

He got a shorty with some pound cakes (And certainly)
Some angel cakes, black, brown cakes (And word to E)
Square, circle and some round cakes (No perjury)
Can’t forget upside down cakes from botched surgery

They’ve definitely carved their own lane on many fronts. They have a very consistent sound, but it doesn’t keep them boxed in. You can hear various influences ebb and flow throughout their catalog, but it always has that Dopp sound to it. Their rhyme styles and schemes are unorthodox in a sense, but they still have a solid rhythm and flow to them. They definitely keep it fresh, but still stay consistent. Which to me, is no easy feat.

Their style and production is great as always, but I can't ever figure out what their talking about- I have an inkling every song is just endless sex euphemisms.

The lyrics are actually doper than the beats imo.
Lots of sex euphemisms for sure but there’s also a lot of strange medical terms, weird diseases and lesser known pop culture references.

I love this band.
To me Matter Ov Fact has a different voice on this one - it is more gruff.
E Pillz is on his usual linguistics.
This song makes me feel sick it is so disgustingly good (from their previous one sorry not sorry!).

To address peoples earlier thoughts on what they are talking about. You're mostly right. And to the gentleman that mentioned euphemisms that is a rarely used but appropriate word here.
I think their topics range from women (primarily and often), to not being rich (I think they dislike the obscenely rich) and making fun of the ridiculousness of the overtly wealthy (look it up). Have you ever met a homeless and tried to make sense of their outlook. It doesn't work.
Oh sorry - the message in the video i posted is how to remain relevant as time passes by. Euphemism an anti aging drug called rapamycin.

Plus the way they structure their bars is different.
They’ll both write their rhymes with the exact same structure and stay right on topic. Sht is wild.
The first time I ever heard them my man put on Lone Sharks. I was lit and we were coming back from a party and the beats were kinda dope.
But it went over my head. I bet the same thing happens to a lot of people.
It was after numerous listens I realized that lyrically they were on another level like on some next sht.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing first time neither.
I swear the original copy of Lone Sharks I had was real lo-fi and I thought EP sounded like Doom.
