That Premo track goes ridiculously hard Yessirs!!! Beat got that PRhyme-era Premier sound, Im beginnin to think when we look back a coupla yrs from now, those beats will stand stronger than when we witnessed them in real time EDIT: aaand they did in fact hook up during the PRhyme sessions, makes sense

His best since Control System. Soul's problem was he was all f**ked up on different drugs making the last few albums and it showed. He still had gems here and there but a lot of it was just too out there. Also explains the long waits between albums. But with this one it seems like he got his s**t together and he even mentions not having to wait a long stretch for a new album after this. Soul always seemed like the one out of the TDE camp that could stand with Kendrick and if he stays on this path he could be there. Maybe not in terms of mainstream recognition but lyrically definitely.

This a real solid album off 1st listen
Ima hafta come back to this
Production is beautiful thruout, plenty of dusty jazzed out samples, drums bang, coupla crossover attempts here and there but nothing that takes the focus off of the core sound
Slightly surprised here

Which track features Jay Z ?

No Jigga. There was a picture with Ab and Jay at a restaurant recently and people starting speculating that it meant there would be a feature on the new album. Possibly something comes out down the road but not on Herbert.
