Back in high school in 97 I had a 5 mic source tee shirt , snow camo pants , black Nike basket ball shoes with the neon green bubbles I bought for $180 Back then it was all Polo, Nautica, and Tommy Hill. I still rock all of that. Specially Nautica. Lacoste too. North Face is practically all I wear in the winter. I got like three dope a** jackets that are basically weatherproof.

The Pharcyde - Labcabincalifornia would be a personal 5 mic album for me (was rated as a 4 mic album).

Ready to die isn’t a 5 mic album , biggie never dropped a 5 mic album Ready To Die is a classic rap album. When that sht came out it was the ONLY sht. That’s what everyone was listening to everywhere. First time raw doggin a chick was to Suicide Thoughs. Fkd her against a wall in my boys bathroom with her jean shorts around one leg.

Muddy Waters is a 5 mic classic album.
I used to listen to this lil college radio station outta Philly.
It was called Vibes & Vapors.
muddy waters came out and they just plaid it over and over and over.
Think it was December too. Damn that’s dope.

Things Fall Apart and Reloaded are two other albums I'd like to add. The Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders should be mentioned if they haven't already. Diamond District- In the Ruff and Y Society- Travel At Your Own Pace are two underrated classics.

I may be opening a can of worms here but the source for the most part covered mainstream music. They had some ughh articles or ads for albums but nobody really rated that stuff or at least later into the 90s and early 00s nobody at the source gave a f**k anymore or was even less credible and more petty. But what I'm getting at is nobody is mentioning any underground albums. Thers a ton of ughh 5 mic classics. Ill start with one of my favorite albums ever in rap. Blazing arrow from blackalicious.
