I grew up on Hip Hop of the 90s and 2000s and while that era was blessed with good music I can only remember a handful of videos that didn't just involve MCs looking stern, rapping into the camera (which I always thought was a bit unimaginative). Am I just being forgetful? If not, why did an art form that oozes creativity, humour and depth not really translate to the music videos. Notable exceptions I can still recall include: - The Roots 'What They Do' - Busta Rhymes 'Gimme Some More' - Tupac 'Do For Love' - The Pharcyde 'The Drop' - The Lootpack 'Whenimondamic'
P.S Massive appreciation for getting these forums up and running again! For an English underground head like me, underground hip-hop.com was my Mecca for so long and searching for true Hip Hop music ever since the site died has been harder than it should ever have to be.

A good tip would be to follow the artists you like instead of lettin the hubs drive you
