Maybe it's a little early, but there are quite a few good and also bad albums out this year, and we're still waiting for a few more.

good calls on Vic Spencer, Rome Streetz, Mickey Diamond, Ghettosocks, Killah Priest, Raz Fresco, Ransom + others, not going to list them all but I enjoyed those.
looks like you like that abstract backwoodz studioz, new wrecking crew stuff. i did listen that Torito album randomly a while back this guy looks ridiculous wearing a bull mask and s**t lol. not my style. i havent heard any billy woodz since the alchemist album
i listened to the first couple tracks on Big Kahuna OG - Metal Gear Solid last night, going to put that back on right now actually
might have to check out ol' Lupe, kinda interested in that one

backwoodz killed it this year. billy woods and preservation aethiopes was so great! the akai album is amazing too! waddup tippi. hope u bust some bars out on threads II we know you got that fiyah g what's up eseph, hope you're doing well the woods albums with messiah musik and preservation, i told bessie, duncecap's project, shrapknel, AKAI. defcee's album this year was incredible even though it was released on closed sessions. at this rate i could see backwoodz becoming a powerhouse indie rap label in the next 2-3 years even without considering all the woods, elucid, and armand hammer releases. the growth has been monumental and there's so many affiliates now. i know cavalier's new album is done and he's looking for a home for it, would be a perfect fit if backwoodz ends up being the label to put it out. skech185 album should be early next year and he's basically part of the crew at this point. there's also still a few albums dropping before the end of the year that i'm anticipating: Waajeed - Memoirs of Hi-Tech Jazz (11/25) Fresh Kils - Disclaimer (11/25) Lt Headtrip - Steinway (11/29) OKnice - The Sun Can't Fix It (11/29) ILL-SUGI - ZYPressen (12/9) Daniel Son & Kostia - Le vent se lève (12/9) Ab-soul - Herbert (12/16) The Doppelgangaz - BCL (12/16) MIKE - Beware of the Monkey (12/21) |

ps. my dream was always to be signed to backwoodz (since 2007 at least lol)
saw woods in concert last month and bished up and got too nervous to talk to him.(ooff)
reason 1. i was drunk and didn't want bref stinkin like a muhfukka in his face
reason 2. really tried avoiding eye contact during and after the show cuz i didn't want to ruin the mystique
