Shout out to Vin Rock and Kay Gee.
But Treach was the illest.
NOBODY was touching him.
Then there was Redman and then there was Nas.
But for a small slice of time Treach was the dopest mfkr ON THE PLANET. Less we forget.
Naughty had hits worldwide and they don’t get no shine when we talk about all time greats.

I def had a NBN phase, had their own sound (well F.U. did) and anthems for days
I think what ultimately drove me away from them was the beats ironically -
Melodies were all lighthearted, happyish stuff due to the samples used, bass was jumpy, midfreqs poppin, almost joyous
That totally clashed w everything else that started droppin

Like I said.
There was a small moment in time when they were the biggest thing in hip hop. Didn’t last long.

Yeah we remember them for hip hop hooray and opp, but treach had a killer flow

They were never favorites and I always skipped the "anthem" songs OPP and HipHopHooray but other than that, I had the first two albums on rotation with the first one pretty heavily. The skits and overall production flow of that first album were excellent.
