New album will be out On October 14
The upcoming album features contributions from Sean Price, AZ, 38 Spesh, NEMS, Royal Flush, and Vado. Domingo, a producer who has worked with G Rap for over 20 years, is behind the beats.
First single still fresh as f**k:

Damn, tight song. Always up for some new G Rap. Kane still sounds nice, he really needs to record more.

That s**t is okay. Great rapping, average beat.
Riches, Royalty, Respect had some bangers, that was the last G Rap album I liked. Never even heard the s**t with Necro people seemed to hate it.
Son of G Rap was forgettable, but it did have that one damn Alchemist heater Land Mine with Ransom.

The replies to this got me thinking
I give both of them the highest praise on a technical and historical level, but Ive never had an album of theirs that Id play front to back...
Jadakiss syndrome or just me bein too picky w the beats I dunno

G rap is an all time favorite but honestly, the last joint of his I enjoy start to finish is the offer you can't refuse ep.

This is going to be one hell of an album, I have high expectations for it!
Some more news:
With Hip-Hop about to celebrate its 50th birthday, G Rap’s new single and album announcement coincides with his induction (the induction class also includes Slick Rick, Diamond D, Whodini, UTFO & Chubb Rock) into the National Hip-Hop Museum. The induction ceremony will take place on 8-26-22, at Atlantucky in Atlanta, GA. The induction ceremony will conclude with “Fly Till I Die” being played for the distinguished guests in attendance.

Yeah that was pretty dope digital only though but free G is good as always his later output been ok, solid to great Must admit I really dug that Necro G rap, s**t was flames, Half a Klip is a bit miss for me, there is a vinyl reissue dropping soon but I will pass, like the Lp he did with his first family click although he is good on there Also anyone remember that joint he did with that teenage white kid where he is vaping in the vid, I can't find it on YouTube Hoping this will be good its always the beats man, the beats....

Pretty sure the vape video is Grant - Wicked. There was a video for it, but looks like it's private now. Grant sucks, but idk if I recorded a video with an all time great I'd leave that sh1t up.

I swear the way he starts his verse like he just weaves in, instead of a hard drop SMH

Kool G Rap just dropped a new single from his upcoming album Last of a Dying Breed, "Born Hustler" featuring AZ and 38 Spesh.
The new project marks the legendary Juice Crew member's first album since 2018's Son Of G Rap with 38 Spesh and his first solo album since 2017s Return Of The Don. The project is executive produced by The National Hip Hop Museum.

He was the best emcee to ever do it til Nas toppled him recently in my opinion.
Those 2 tracks are nice.
Half a klip is underrated. The life, what's more realer than that and a few others on it are great

Considering that I've only been listening to underground hip hop for about 15 years, Kool G Rap is one of my latest 'discoveries' that I really like. I'm really hyped about this album and when it comes out 2022 will be over for me
