For those that want to know more about the book. It's had over 400 downloads so far. How many of y'all remember memphis's own Craig Brewers "hustle and flow". Most og Memphis rappers from interviews I've seen online disapproved of the movie or werent digging it. Ksp said in an interview he stole the idea from him and made the "white people version" of the movie. Lol. Well, this book is not about Memphis rappers or rap, but holds inspiration from the streets and some of the music. On the real, it makes the movie hustle and flow look like a story from an animated Disney movie for little kids. I did my best to represent for Memphis and make a work of fiction the city can be proud of. It's definitely not for the mainstream crowd with it's dark themes and concepts, much like the music that came out of the city. With a small dose of comedy, and even more action and suspense prepare to be entertained by a story line that your mother hates, that the politically correct cancel culture would probably boycott, and realistic characters that capture the Memphis energy and lingo written by a Memphis native.
