remember when the physical copies of s**t like this was actually in store when it dropped especially when backed by a wack a** major label so we could pick it up read the liner notes and experience the art in the way it was intended while reading all the shout outs. this cd doesnt drop for months wtf

Yessir. The game is doo doo now. You figure with one of the biggest artists of all time who's got tons of money rolled up in smart investments, they can have a f**king CD ready the day it drops. Otherwise, why have a physical release at all? I had a s**tty experience with the Nasir CD release.

I'm over getting mad about physicals coming out months later.
As an artist, you get cash flow upfront and you can place an order for the right amount of vinyl/CDs - which makes sense.
I feel like the physical crowd, me, is so limited that we are at the back of the line.
I used to get upset but it's the new normal - and it's probably justified.

As an artist that has pressed merchandise, I can agree with what you said for the most part but I can't say it's justified for CDs or for an artist of Nas' stature. I get it, the demand ain't what it was. But a quick run of 1K outfront and call it limited should be fairly easy for Mass Appeal to do for Nas.
